For this branding project I worked closely with the owners of an independent woodworking shop, By Our Hands We Make Our Way, which is located in Sneinton Market, Nottingham. They loved the idea of something which was playful and intriguing so that it would encourage foot traffic to engage with it whilst they attempted deciphered it.
The colours reflected their interior palette scheme and also incorporated their hand logo so as to emphasise the hands-on activities and classes held in the space. This is a great example of expressing core values and ethos all the way through a business; hand painted things, for hand made services, made for people by people.
The whole project involved several aspects to their shopfront by painting windows, a removable fascia, and they also later used the design for business cards and in house promotion so as to keep their branding consistent throughout.
